About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support marketing and sales initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment by analyzing large datasets to generate actionable insights. Your primary focus will be on optimizing marketing tactics, improving customer acquisition and retention strategies, and enhancing overall media performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop dashboards, reports, and analytical models that measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across channels such as email, digital, social media, and direct mail. Your expertise in SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis will be instrumental in identifying audience segments, measuring campaign performance, and informing strategic decision-making. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, revenue analysis, or marketing analytics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for conveying insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience with reporting and analytics in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools
- Knowledge of data validation, data cleaning, and data governance best practices
- Analyze performance metrics across various marketing channels including email, social media, digital advertising, and direct mail to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, merge, clean, and validate large datasets supporting accurate reporting and analysis
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing KPIs, pipeline impact, and return on investment
- Design and execute A/B tests, lift studies, and cohort analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tactics and campaigns
- Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to define KPIs, develop analytical approaches, and deliver actionable insights
- Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy across CRM, analytics platforms, and marketing tools
- Document data logic, assumptions, and metric definitions to ensure consistency and scalability of analytics efforts
- Support continuous improvement of data collection processes and reporting frameworks
- Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience
