Key Responsibilities Data extraction and manipulation: Querying data: Write and optimize basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract data from various relational databases. Data preparation: Clean, transform, and validate raw data sets using tools like MS Excel and/or Python/R to ensure accuracy and consistency. Data sourcing: Assist in collecting data from internal databases, flat files (CSV, Excel), and external APIs/sources. Analysis and reporting: Report generation: Create and maintain routine reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for different business units. Visualization: Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) to translate complex data sets into clear, intuitive, and visually appealing charts and dashboards. Ad-Hoc analysis: Conduct specific analyses as requested by senior analysts or business stakeholders to address immediate business questions. Support and collaboration: Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, methodologies, and reporting processes. Teamwork: Collaborate closely with senior analysts, data engineers, and business users to understand their requirements and deliver timely insights.
