Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst with 2-3 years of experience who is passionate about working with data using Google Sheets / Excel and SQL , and eager to grow into more advanced analytics roles. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling datasets, building reports and dashboards , and supporting teams with data-driven insights . You will work closely with senior analysts and cross-functional business stakeholders to collect, clean, and analyze data ? primarily using Google Sheets and SQL , while also exploring tools like Python , Google Apps Script , and data visualization platforms to automate and enhance analytics workflows. Key Responsibilities ?? Data Management & Reporting Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources using Google Sheets and SQL . Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards for business KPIs and performance tracking. Use formulas, pivot tables, charts, and scripts to create efficient and insightful reporting templates. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all reports and analyses. ?? Data Analysis & Insights Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities. Support senior analysts in building data models and forecasting reports . Translate raw data into clear, actionable insights that inform business decisions. Conduct quick-turnaround analyses to address operational or strategic questions. ?? Automation & Process Improvement Use Google Apps Script or basic Python to automate repetitive data tasks and workflows. Streamline manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time. Explore AI tools like ChatGPT to optimize data workflows, generate summaries, and enhance reporting efficiency. ?? Visualization & Communication Create clear and engaging visual dashboards in Google Sheets , Looker Studio , or Power BI . Present analytical findings in a simple, concise way for non-technical stakeholders . Support data storytelling by combining visuals and insights into compelling business narratives. ?? Collaboration & Continuous Learning Partner with business, product, and operations teams to understand data requirements. Work under the guidance of senior analysts to continuously improve technical and analytical skills. Stay curious and proactive in learning new tools, technologies, and analytical techniques. Required Skills & Qualifications ?? Technical Skills Google Sheets / Excel: Advanced skills in formulas, pivot tables, charts, and dashboards. SQL: Ability to write basic to intermediate queries for data extraction and analysis. Scripting / Automation: Exposure to Google Apps Script or Python is preferred. Data Visualization: Familiarity with tools like Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau . AI Tools: Interest in using ChatGPT and similar platforms for data automation and insights. ?? Soft Skills Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills ? able to explain insights clearly and confidently.
