Data Analyst – Enterprise Data Management

Location: Hyderabad, India

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Management team , with a core focus on Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM). In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, profiling, and enhancing data within critical enterprise applications, including Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and Marketo. A key part of your responsibilities involves establishing and maintaining data quality standards, supporting data governance initiatives, and assisting with ongoing MDM processes to ensure data consistency and integrity across the organization. You will collaborate extensively with Data Stewards, business stakeholders, and IT teams to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve data issues.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in data analysis and data management within enterprise environments, with hands-on skills in scripting/querying data (SQL, Python), integrating data from various source systems (including Snowflake), and direct involvement in data quality and data governance projects. Experience with data quality or integration tools, such as Syncari and Validity, is highly desirable, and familiarity with Tableau for data visualization is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data sets from multiple enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Oracle ERP, Marketo, and others.
• Write and optimize complex scripts and queries in SQL, Python, and relevant languages across Snowflake and source applications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards to effectively visualize key business metrics and data trends.
• Collaborate closely with both IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, validate data, and resolve data quality issues.
• Work with Data Stewards to address and resolve data governance issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Support ongoing data governance and data quality initiatives by establishing processes, standards, and best practices.
• Document all data processes, methodologies, and insights clearly and effectively for a variety of audiences.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the data management lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 5–7 years of experience as a Data Analyst in an enterprise environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, data extraction, and scripting languages (with a preference for Python).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications like Salesforce, Oracle ERP, and Marketo.
• Deep working knowledge of cloud data platforms, especially Snowflake.
• Demonstrated history of working successfully in a data governance framework, including experience collaborating with Data Stewards and business users to resolve data issues.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with a proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with master data management (MDM) concepts and practices.
• Experience with data integration or data quality tools such as Syncari and Validity is highly desirable.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
