Job Description

Role Summary We are seeking a skilled network engineer with deep expertise in IP routing and MPLS integration to support the deployment and configuration of large-scale telecom infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms and protocols, and a strong understanding of Layer 2/3 services. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement network solutions based on detailed Low-Level Designs (LLD) Deploy and troubleshoot IP/MPLS protocols including BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LDP, RSVP-TE, and Segment Routing Implement L2 & L3 services using VPLS, VPRN, and MP-BGP Configure routers and switches via CLI across platforms like Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, and Juniper Set up and manage L2 VPN, L3 VPN, VPWS (epipe, apipe, cpipe), QoS policies, and basic router configurations Perform NE integration, software uploads/upgrades, and backups on 7750 SR and 7250 IXR devices Monitor and interpret network alarms for proactive issue resolution Required Skills & Expertise Strong hands-on experience in IP/MPLS network protocols and services Proficiency in CLI-based configuration and troubleshooting In-depth knowledge of Alcatel-Lucent 7750 SR and 7250 IXR platforms Familiarity with QoS, VPN provisioning, and service-level configurations Ability to interpret network alarms and logs for root cause analysis Solid understanding of network architecture and service delivery models Soft Skills & Work Culture Detail-oriented and methodical approach to network deployment Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset Effective communicator and team collaborator Willingness to work in dynamic, multi-vendor environments (ref:hirist.tech)
