Job Description

Job Summary (Cybersecurity Engineer NY)

Deploy and manage cybersecurity technologies (e.g., Trend Micro Antivirus, RSA SecureID, Splunk).
Implement and support new security solutions (e.g., Cyberark, Tenable).
Participate in infrastructure upgrades to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation and procedural guides.
Design and propose system architecture for security deployments.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on technology implementation.
Configure, set up, and maintain cybersecurity systems and applications.
Deliver training and guidance to team members on new technologies.
Provide on-call and off-hour support for cybersecurity systems as required.
Perform equipment transport and installation as needed.
Travel to multiple company sites; valid driver s license required.
Work onsite at least four days per week; flexibility for overtime and emergencies.
Ensure compliance with NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment and company policies.
Required technical skills: Splunk Enterprise Security management, Trend Micro AntiVirus administration.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred: Experience in the utility or energy sector and at reputable organizations.
