Role Description The Cyber Security Trainer will design and deliver classroom-based training programs in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and best practices to students at various skill levels. This full-time, on-site role, based in Pune City, involves preparing and updating training materials, lab exercises, and assessments aligned with current industry standards. The trainer will conduct interactive sessions, provide hands-on guidance during dedicated lab training, and offer individual feedback to support learner progress. Responsibilities also include tracking student performance, contributing to curriculum enhancement, collaborating with the placement team on employability skills, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong cybersecurity knowledge, including network security fundamentals, secure coding principles, vulnerability assessment, and threat analysis.
• Candidates should possess skills in using common security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, SIEM solutions, antivirus/endpoint protection, and penetration testing utilities.
• Candidates should possess training and facilitation skills, including curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom delivery, and evaluation of learning outcomes.
• Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear technical writing, effective verbal instruction, and the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues in simple, practical terms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar) are a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in a training, mentoring, or teaching role, or hands-on industry experience in cybersecurity, is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Pune City, manage multiple batches or courses, and adapt content to different skill levels while maintaining an inclusive, non-discriminatory classroom environment.
