Job Description – Cyber Security Engineer / Security Consultant

Exp- 5- 7 years

Location -Chennai -Hybrid -3 days - L1/L2 (F2F ) Please only local candidates.

Notice period -Immediate -15 days.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Engineer / Security Consultant with strong expertise in application security, network security, and cloud security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in secure coding practices, vulnerability management, security testing coordination, and incident support. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure enterprise applications and infrastructure are secure and compliant with organizational standards.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support application, network, and cloud security controls
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation
• Coordinate and support penetration testing activities
• Work closely with development teams to ensure secure coding practices
• Monitor and track vulnerabilities, remediation activities, and security compliance
• Support investigation and resolution of security incidents
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams on security improvements
• Prepare and maintain security documentation, audit reports, and technical reports
• Participate in security reviews during application deployment and go-live activities
• Support IAM and access governance-related activities
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for security-related initiatives
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities

• CEH
• Security+
