Customer Trust Lead (INDIA)

The Opportunity

Commvault is seeking a Customer Trust Lead to support customer and prospect security and compliance inquiries and help build confidence in Commvault’s security, privacy, and resilience posture. As a member of the Trust organization, this role serves as a key external-facing representative, engaging with customers to explain security and compliance concepts and guide discussions toward meaningful, business-aligned outcomes across security, privacy, data governance, AI, and resilience.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer-facing security and compliance inquiries, including questionnaires, due diligence requests, and customer calls.
  • Clearly explain Commvault’s security, privacy, data governance, AI, and resilience posture to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assess and communicate security and compliance risk at the appropriate level, helping customers move beyond unnecessary detail to focus on true business impact and effective mitigation strategies.
  • Review security- and compliance-related contract language and customer requirements in partnership with Legal and other internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses.
  • Represent the Commvault brand externally with exceptional professionalism, polish, and sound judgment.

Who You Are

  • Graduate Degree holder.
  • Thorough knowledge of broad security, trust, risk, or compliance topics
  • Experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong understanding of information security, privacy, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and credibly.
  • Expertise with common security and compliance frameworks and standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, privacy regulations).
  • Customer-focused, calm, and confident in high-stakes or ambiguous situations.
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and trusted by both customers and internal teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers in a SaaS or technology environment.
