We are looking for a Customer Success & FinOps Specialist who can bridge the gap between finance operations, customer success, and our product. This role is ideal for someone with a background in accounting, finance operations, reconciliation, billing, or audit, who enjoys working directly with clients to solve operational and financial workflow challenges. Unlike a traditional finance role, this position is customer-facing. The individual will help clients understand and optimize their billing, reconciliation, invoicing, and financial reporting processes while ensuring they successfully adopt and utilize our FinOps platform.


Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts and FinOps-related queries. 
  • Manage client onboarding, product adoption, training, and regular business reviews.
  • Understand client billing cycles, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting needs.
  • Configure billing, reconciliation, approval, and financial workflows within the platform.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and workflow gaps.
  • Help clients interpret financial reports, dashboards, and accounting data.
  • Drive customer success by improving client experience, retention, and account health.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance,and Support teams to resolve client issues.
  • Identify process improvements and build SOPs, playbooks, templates, and documentation.
  • Manage implementation timelines, stakeholder communication, and project deliverables.
  • Ensure governance, audit readiness, and strong account hygiene.


Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, Reconciliation, or Audit.
  • Exposure to SaaS, FinTech, Agencies, Marketplaces, or high-volume transaction businesses, ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
  • Strong knowledge of billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial workflows. 
  • Experience handling client or stakeholder communication.
  • Proficient in financial reporting, data analysis, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/Accounting tools (SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, etc.).
  • Experience in financial process improvement, workflow optimization, and SOP creation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
