Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of customer service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Open availability during the seasonal period
- Quiet, distraction-free home environment
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- Proficiency in computer navigation and PC skills
- Own a desktop or laptop (No Macs, Chromebooks, tablets, or mobile phones)
- Operating System: Windows 11 or higher
- RAM: 8GB or higher
- Processor: Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 or higher
- Reliable internet connection (DSL, Cable, or Fiber, minimum 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload)
- Hardwired internet connection via Ethernet cable during work hours
- Residency in the United States with a valid U.S. address
- Smartphone for work-related communication
- Provide inbound customer support following established call flow guides
- Assist customers in resolving basic technical issues related to tax services
- Accurately track, document, and retrieve information within databases
- Promote additional products or services where appropriate
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Maintain knowledge of current tax products, policies, and procedures
- Adhere to company policies and compliance standards
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
