About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Mortgage Insurance Call Center Representative. This role requires handling inbound and outbound business calls with precision, ensuring accurate processing of mortgage insurance documentation, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and insurance providers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for retrieving, validating, and documenting insurance information, supporting our commitment to excellent service delivery. Starting at a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, this position offers an opportunity to develop skills within a supportive environment that values continuous learning and professional growth. The role primarily operates in an in-office setting, with the potential for a performance-based work-from-home incentive after successful completion of the initial probation period.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of call center experience
  • Proficiency in 10-key typing with a minimum of 32 WPM
  • Strong reading comprehension skills, including understanding manuals and policy documents
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to perform research and retrieve information from online insurance platforms
  • Willingness to attend educational courses and training sessions
  • Experience with community bank bonds, D&O, property, and casualty insurance programs is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls professionally, establishing positive rapport with borrowers and clients
  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies to retrieve documentation or verify information
  • Document all interactions accurately within the system, maintaining detailed records
  • Perform online research to retrieve insurance policy information and related documents
  • Adhere to established procedures, guidelines, and company policies to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Maintain minimum productivity and quality standards as set by management
  • Support team and company goals by consistently meeting performance metrics
  • Participate in industry-related training and continuing education to stay updated on best practices
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction
