Job Description
Are you a tech-savvy communicator who enjoys solving problems in a structured environment? Join Barion as a Customer Care Specialist and help us deliver fast, friendly and reliable support across multiple channels. You’ll troubleshoot issues, work with internal teams and improve how we serve our customers.
We're based in Budapest, but your impact will reach across regions. This role requires fluency in Hungarian, English and one of the following: Romanian, Czech, Slovak.
What You’ll Do
- Support customers via phone, email, live chat and our ticketing system.
- Help customers solve issues related to payments, accounts and transactions.
- Communicate with customers from Romania, Czechia and Slovakia.
- Investigate cases and find solutions independently or escalate when needed.
- Troubleshoot issues and follow up on more complex cases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Keep documentation and knowledge bases accurate and up to date.
- Learn our products and systems and continuously develop your expertise.
What You Bring
- Fluent Hungarian and English
- AND at least ONE of the following: Romanian / Czech / Slovak
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and software systems.
- Organized, reliable and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stay calm and structured when solving problems.
No previous Customer Care or fintech experience is required — we provide full training.
Nice To Have
- Previous experience in customer support.
- Interest in fintech or online payments.
- Familiarity with KYC / AML concepts.
