Project Role : Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have skills : SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, from scoping to post-go-live support. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions. Perform configuration of SAP FI and CO modules, including integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP). Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, including consultants and analysts. Identify and resolve issues related to SAP FICO, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Conduct system testing, user training, and documentation for SAP FICO processes and configurations. Develop and deliver presentations and workshops to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation plans. Stay up to date with SAP FICO updates and industry trends to provide best-in-class solutions. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master?s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. Experience: 15+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling). At least 8+ years of experience managing SAP FICO implementation projects in a leadership role. Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of FICO functionality in S/4HANA. Strong expertise in financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, asset management, and cost center accounting. Experience with integration between SAP FICO and other modules (e.g., MM, SD, PP). Hands-on experience with SAP FI & CO configurations and customizations. Skills: Expertise in SAP FI/CO configuration, implementation, and support. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and internal controls. Ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams and ensure alignment between business and IT. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Ability to manage multiple priorities, risks, and deadlines. Knowledge of SAP Fiori and other SAP tools is a plus. SAP Certification in FI/CO is highly preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects. Strong understanding of Controlling, Intercompany, ICMR, financial consolidation, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Experience in working in a client-facing, consulting role is highly desirable. Exposure to business transformation initiatives and working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
