Must have skills : Automotive ECU Software Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: The Client is seeking a talented and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our automotive software products, particularly those developed using the Simulink platform. Roles and responsibilities : -Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software applications. -Utilize Simulink expertise to create test models and leverage Model-Based Design for testing. -Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies. -Automate test execution using scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and testing frameworks. -Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools. -Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality. -Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools relevant to the automotive industry. Technical Responsibilities : -Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive industry. -Experience with Simulink model development and code verification using static analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace) and unit testing methodologies. -Proven ability to leverage static analysis tools to improve unit test coverage and code quality for Simulink models. -Experience using a combination of static analysis and unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of automotive software (developed in Simulink). -Familiarity with automotive software development processes (e.g., V-model, Agile). -Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) a plus. -Experience with automotive testing tools (e.g., CANoe, Vector tools) a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full-time education is required. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)., 15 years full time education
