Creative Video Editor

Role Summary

We are a fast-growing startup looking for a Creative Video Editor who thinks way beyond basic cuts and transitions. We don't just want someone to stitch clips together; we want a storyteller, an idea generator, and a tech-savvy creator.

Key Responsibilities

• Innovate & Edit: Bring fresh concepts, storytelling techniques, and creative editing styles to our video content using advanced NLEs (Non-Linear Editors).
• Leverage AI: Actively use and experiment with modern AI video, audio, and generative tools to increase productivity, enhance visuals, and speed up workflows.
• Direct the Visuals: Apply your understanding of shooting fundamentals (framing, composition, lighting, camera angles) to guide the editing process and collaborate with our shooting teams.
• Collaborate & Plan: Work closely with the creative, marketing, and leadership teams to plan projects effectively from pre-production to final export.
  
  

Technical Expertise & Qualifications

• Advanced Editing: Proficiency in industry-standard tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro).
• AI Integration: Hands-on experience or a strong willingness to master AI creative tools (e.g., Mid journey, Runway Gen-2, Hey Gen, Topaz Video AI, Adobe Firefly, Cap Cut advanced features.
• Exceptional Soft Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to articulate your creative vision to the team.
• Creative Thinking: A natural ability to solve visual problems and conceptualize engaging narratives from raw footage.
