Creative Director – Growth & Social Media

Location: Bangalore (On-site)

Experience: 8–15 Years

Type: Full-time



About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Director who can own and scale our entire social media growth engine across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and emerging channels.

This is not a traditional creative role — this is a revenue-impacting leadership role where creativity meets performance marketing.

You will be responsible for building high-conversion content systems, leading large creative teams, and ensuring every piece of content drives engagement, brand recall, and admissions/sales impact.



Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Growth Ownership

  • Own end-to-end growth strategy for platforms like:
  • YouTube (long-form + shorts)
  • Instagram (reels, carousels, stories)
  • Other emerging channels (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Drive organic growth, engagement, and lead generation
  • Build scalable content funnels aligned to admissions/sales goals



2. Content Strategy & Storytelling

  • Lead the creation of high-impact storytelling formats
  • Develop content that:
  • Hooks within first 3–5 seconds
  • Retains audience till end
  • Drives clear CTA (enquiry, signup, etc.)
  • Translate complex concepts (AI, careers, outcomes) into simple, viral narratives
  • Create repeatable formats (series, frameworks, viral loops)



3. Creative Production Leadership

  • Manage and scale cross-functional teams:
  • Scriptwriters
  • Video editors
  • Shoots & production crew
  • Designers (thumbnails, creatives)
  • Oversee end-to-end pipeline:
  • Ideation → Scripting → Shoot → Editing → Publishing
  • Ensure speed + quality + consistency



4. Performance-Driven Creativity

  • Build a data-first creative culture
  • Analyze:
  • CTR (thumbnails)
  • Watch time
  • Retention curves
  • Conversion metrics
  • Continuously iterate content based on performance insights
  • Work closely with marketing & sales teams to align content with revenue goals



5. Brand & Content Positioning

  • Define and evolve brand voice across platforms
  • Ensure consistency in:
  • Visual identity
  • Messaging
  • Tone of communication
  • Position the brand as a category leader in edtech



What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

  • Proven experience in scaling YouTube/Instagram channels to large audiences
  • Strong leadership experience managing creative + production teams
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Viral content mechanics
  • Hooks, retention, storytelling frameworks
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Scriptwriting
  • Video production workflows
  • Thumbnail and creative strategy
  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically
  • Btech is mandatory



Good-to-Have

  • Experience in EdTech / D2C / high-growth startups
  • Understanding of Gen Z audience behavior
  • Experience in building content that drives revenue (not just views)
  • Familiarity with tools:
  • Premiere Pro / Final Cut
  • After Effects
  • AI video/content tools
