Job Description

Responsible for asset-level data analysis, risk assessment, and reporting for the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Asset Management business. Supports loan and asset monitoring, underwriting support, and portfolio analytics, ensuring data accuracy and effective stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and coordinate due diligence of deal-related documentation and post-pledge activities.
  • Review commercial real estate loan documentation, including legal documents, covenants, and approval conditions.
  • Analyze property financials, appraisal reports, business plans, and operating cash flows.
  • Track, underwrite, and update asset-level operating cash flows using market data and actual performance data.
  • Analyze and monitor key CRE risk metrics such as LTV, DSCR, and Debt Yield.
  • Support risk rating and credit analysis for internal approvals.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring of loan and asset performance across the CRE portfolio.
  • Prepare asset summary reports, portfolio dashboards, valuation analysis, and market analysis.
  • Manage and analyze large datasets related to CRE assets and loans.
  • Apply data validation, reconciliation, and quality control checks across internal systems.
  • Interact with property managers, borrowers, third-party vendors, law firms, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate asset management, loan servicing, or credit analysis
  • Strong understanding of CRE risk metrics (LTV, DSCR, Debt Yield)
  • Experience reviewing property financials, appraisal reports, and loan documentation
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
  • Ability to manage and interpret large datasets
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple deliverables

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Argus and/or Rockport
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Alteryx
  • Exposure to institutional CRE platforms or asset-secured lending
  • Understanding of CRE valuation and market analysis concepts
