Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counselling Psychologist located in Bhimavaram. The Counselling Psychologist will conduct psychological assessments, provide individual and group counseling sessions, address mental health concerns, and create therapeutic strategies tailored to the needs of students or staff. The role includes maintaining confidential records, offering crisis intervention when necessary, and collaborating with faculty and other professionals to promote a supportive environment for emotional well-being and academic success.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health practices
• Expertise in Counseling and Psychological Assessments
• Basic knowledge of Medicine related to mental health conditions is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals from varying backgrounds
• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field
• Previous experience counseling students or young adults is a plus
• Professional licenses or certifications relevant to counseling psychology are an advantage
