Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Cost Manager – Interiors (Pre-Contract).

The role involves managing the financial and commercial aspects of interior fit-out projects during the pre-contract stage, including:

  • Preparing detailed project budgets and cost plans for interior fit-out works
  • Developing and reviewing detailed BoQs for civil, finishes, joinery, furniture, and interior packages
  • Conducting quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out cost benchmarking and feasibility analysis
  • Supporting value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
  • Preparing tender documentation including scope of work and commercial conditions
  • Evaluating contractor bids and preparing comparative statements
  • Coordinating with designers, architects, MEP consultants, and project teams
  • Preparing cost reports and client presentations

The Cost Manager will ensure interior projects are commercially structured, technically evaluated, and financially viable before execution.

Qualifications
  • 6–10 years of experience in Pre-Contract Cost Management / Quantity Surveying (Interiors / Fit-out)
  • Strong expertise in budget preparation and BoQ development for interior works
  • Experience in Commercial Office Fit-outs, Hospitality Interiors, or Residential Interiors
  • Good understanding of interior finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination
  • Proficiency in quantity take-offs, estimation methodologies, and advanced Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
