Job Description
- Prepare and maintain standard costs for sheet metal components and assemblies
- Analyze material costs including coils, sheets, scrap, and nesting efficiency
- Monitor labor and machine costs for laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and finishing operations
- Perform cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and report deviations
- Prepare cost sheets based on BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings
- Support new product costing, quotations, and process change evaluations
- Track and analyze scrap, rework, and rejection costs
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication industry
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles
- Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 8 - 12 years Experience in Sheet metal related knowledge.
