Role Summary

This role is responsible for strengthening the organisation’s external communications and brand reputation across media, industry platforms, and digital channels. The incumbent will lead media engagement, industry event participation, and integrated social media communications while ensuring message consistency across all external stakeholder touchpoints. The role will work closely with leadership, PR and digital agencies, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute external communication strategies aligned with organisational priorities and reputation objectives.

Lead media relations including press releases, media kits, leadership interviews, speeches, and briefing documents.

Manage industry event participation—conferences, forums, panels, and exhibitions—covering positioning, messaging, and visibility outcomes.

Own end-to-end corporate social media communications, including content strategy, executive visibility, and thought leadership.

Safeguard and enhance corporate brand identity across all external channels.

Support crisis communication planning and execution in coordination with senior leadership.

Collaborate with PR and social media agencies, industry bodies, and partners to drive sustained brand visibility.

Support CSR, sustainability, and ESG communication initiatives.

Track media coverage, sentiment, and communication effectiveness through structured reporting.

Skill Requirements

Strong storytelling, writing, and editorial judgment.

Established media relations network (preferably Mumbai-based).

Experience managing leadership visibility and high-stakes external narratives.

Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media management platforms, and WordPress.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA (preferred)/ Master’s in Communications, Mass Media, PR, Journalism, or related field.

 Experience in Wastewater/B2B/ Infra/ IT/ Pharma/ Power/B2G would be of added advantage.

Experience managing communications for an IPO-bound or recently listed company will be a strong advantage.

Experience in corporate B2B and B2G environments.

Exposure to Infrastructure, Construction, Technology, ESG, or Social Impact sectors.
