Corporate Associate, Startup & Venture Capital Group

Firm Overview: This leading technology and life sciences law firm, with a cutting edge, internationally recognized, dynamic corporate practice has offices in Northern California, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C., and Boston. It’s corporate group provides services to technology and life sciences companies at all stages of development, from early startups to mature, publicly traded corporations. They are seeking mid-to-senior level corporate associates with at least 3 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate law practice with a focus on startup, venture capital, and emerging company representation, for their San Francisco office.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience with a JD from a reputable law school (must submit law school transcript with resume) as superior academic credentials are a must.

• Experience with, or affinity for, technology and/or life sciences companies is required.

• M&A and/or Capital Markets experience with such companies is a plus.

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are required.

• In-house candidates are welcome to apply, provided they have previous law firm experience.

• Candidates must be barred in CA or be eligible to sit/waive into the next bar exam.

• The anticipated salary range for this position is: $260,000 to $390,000/year. The actual base salary offered may depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
