Corporate Associate Attorney

Atlanta, GA (Hybrid- 3 days a week in office, 2 from home)


Our client is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with at least one year of corporate law experience to join our growing Corporate Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a Senior Corporate Attorney while handling sophisticated transactional matters and developing toward managing your own book of business.

About the Role

The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail‑oriented attorney with broad corporate experience who can immediately contribute with minimal day‑to‑day supervision. You will be involved in a wide range of corporate transactions for clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in and independently handle corporate transactions, including:
  • Mergers & acquisitions
  • Joint ventures and strategic partnerships
  • Debt and equity financings
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents
  • Conduct due diligence and manage closings
  • Collaborate directly with senior attorneys and clients
  • Support business development efforts, with the opportunity to grow and manage your own client relationships over time

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing (Georgia preferred, but not required)
  • 1+ years of corporate law experience
  • Experience with M&A, financing transactions, and general corporate matters
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters efficiently
  • Interest in long‑term growth within a collaborative firm environment
