Role Overview


We’re looking for a Direct Response Copywriter who understands one thing clearly:

Copy exists to move people to action. And write copy that does it.


This role is ideal for someone who can write persuasive, performance-driven copy for e-commerce and lead-generation campaigns, and work closely with media buyers, designers, and strategists to improve conversions across the funnel.

Key Responsibilities


Performance & Paid Media Copy
  • Write high-converting ad copies for Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other paid platforms
  • Develop hooks, headlines, primary text, and CTAs aligned to funnel stages (TOF / MOF / BOF)
  • Create multiple copy angles for testing and optimisation
E-commerce Copywriting
  • Write performance-driven e-commerce copy for:
  • Product ads (D2C & marketplace-focused)
  • Product descriptions (conversion-first, not generic)
  • Offer-led creatives, launches, and sale campaigns
  • Retargeting and retention campaigns
  • Translate product features into clear benefits and buying triggers
  • Support CRO-focused landing pages and product pages with persuasive copy
Collaboration & Strategy
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to align copy with targeting, creatives, and campaign goals
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors so copy and visuals work together, not in silos
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas, offers, and messaging angles
Optimisation & Learning
  • Use campaign performance data to refine and improve copy
  • Understand what drives CTR, conversions, AOV, CPL, CPA
  • Iterate fast—performance matters more than perfection
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience as a copywriter (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms and performance marketing ecosystems
  • Experience writing conversion-focused copy, not just brand or social captions
  • Ability to think like a marketer and write like a persuader
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with quick feedback loops
  • Clear communication, structured thinking, and a collaborative mindset
Must-Have Skills
  • Direct response ad copywriting
  • E-commerce copy (product ads, descriptions, offers, retargeting)
  • Funnel-based messaging & CTAs
  • Audience and competitor research
  • Strong command of English (regional language skills are a plus)
Nice to Have
  • Experience with D2C or marketplace brands (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
  • Understanding of landing page logic and CRO principles
  • Exposure to A/B testing and performance optimisation
  • Ability to write short-form video scripts for performance ads
