This is a full-time remote role for a Controller. As a Controller, you will oversee financial operations, develop and implement accounting policies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include managing budgets and financial forecasts, preparing financial reports, handling audits, and coordinating with different departments to ensure accurate financial tracking. The Controller will also lead financial strategy development, manage cash flow, and provide insights to support organizational goals.

• Proficiency in financial management, accounting principles, and budget development
• Experience with financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to support financial decision-making
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial tools, and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
• Prior experience in nonprofit financial management or mission-driven organizations is a plus
