Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Content Writer & SEO Intern who can create high-quality content while applying SEO best practices to improve organic visibility. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a creative mindset, and a basic understanding of digital marketing and search engine optimization.
- Create original, engaging, and well-researched content for blogs, website pages, and social media platforms
- Develop content that aligns with the brand voice, tone, and target audience
- Ensure all content is clear, concise, and free from grammatical errors
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-potential search terms
- Optimize content using on-page SEO techniques including meta tags, headings, and internal linking
- Ensure proper keyword integration while maintaining readability
- Analyze competitor content and identify content gaps
- Suggest new content ideas based on keyword trends and audience needs
- Align content planning with SEO and marketing objectives
- Update and optimize existing website content for improved performance
- Assist in implementing SEO best practices across web pages
- Support basic off-page SEO activities such as backlink building and directory submissions
- Monitor website performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track key metrics including traffic, keyword rankings, and engagement
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- CollaborationWork closely with the marketing and design teams for campaign planning
- Ensure content supports overall marketing goals and brand positioning
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing
- Good research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative thinking with a problem-solving approach
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Exposure to SEO tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or Ahrefs)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (optional advantage)
- Hands-on experience in content marketing and SEO
- Practical knowledge of keyword research and search engine ranking
- Exposure to real-world marketing strategies and tools
