About Role

We are looking for a versatile Content Writer who can shapeshift between formats, from data-rich long form reports that define industry conversations to crisp social posts that earn attention in three seconds. You’ll be the voice behind Redseer’s storytelling, turning proprietary research and insights about India’s internet economy into content that informs, provokes, and converts. If you obsess equally over a 3,000-word thesis and a 30-word LinkedIn copy, and believe great content is built on great thinking rather than great phrasing, this is your seat.

Key Responsibilities

• Long form writing: Craft Redseer’s flagship report series, whitepapers, point-of-view pieces, and thought leadership essays. Translate proprietary data into narratives founders, investors, and operators actually want to read.
• Blogs: Write opinionated, well-researched blog posts that establish Redseer’s POV on disruptive markets, sectors, and India’s internet economy.
• Newsletters: Own the editorial calendar across newsletters and lead nurture sequences. Drive subscriber growth, open rates, and engagement quality.
• Social media: Create scroll-stopping copy for LinkedIn-first social, including both organic posts and paid ad creatives. Partner with the performance team to make every word earn its impression.
• Repurposing & atomization: Break long form work into multi-format campaigns including carousels, threads, snippets, video scripts, and ad copy, without losing the original sharpness.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with research, design, and performance marketing to ensure every piece of content serves both brand and demand goals.

What You Bring

• B2B content writing experience: 2–4 years of experience, preferably in consulting, research, professional services, SaaS, or financial services.
• A portfolio with range: Demonstrated ability across long form content such as reports, whitepapers, and essays, as well as short form content including social copy, ad copy, and headlines.
• Strong research instincts: Ability to translate data, charts, and analyst commentary into clean, compelling narratives.
• Clarity over cleverness: A bias for substance over fluff, with the ability to defend every word.
• Working knowledge of content fundamentals: Understanding of SEO basics, content distribution, and core content analytics such as CTR, engagement, and time-on-page.
• Comfort with iteration: Ability to take feedback, iterate quickly, and ship at pace without over-attaching to first drafts.
• Bonus: Experience with LinkedIn organic strategy, ghost-writing for executives, or collaborating with research and insights teams.
