About the role: Content Writer – Finance  

We are looking for a writer who understands both the stock market and the language of social media. Someone who can turn complex financial ideas into engaging content that people actually want to watch, read, and share.

This role involves researching markets, identifying relevant topics, and writing content across formats including short-form videos and reels, infographics, carousels, and static posts, while also bringing unique, time-agnostic content ideas in the stock market and investing space that remain relevant beyond daily market movements.

The ideal candidate should be curious about investing, market trends, and global and domestic financial news, and be able to simplify these ideas into engaging content for a social media audience.

The role requires someone who is constantly learning about markets, has strong research ability, and can combine financial knowledge with the art of storytelling on social media.

Responsibilities  

• Research topics related to the stock market, investing, and financial news, and identify relevant content opportunities.
• Write engaging scripts and content for short-form videos, long-form videos, infographics, and static social media posts.
• Stay updated with current affairs, global and domestic market developments, and translate them into social media-friendly content.
• Simplify complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.
• Bring unique, original, and time-agnostic content ideas related to markets and investing that can perform consistently across social media platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content creators to execute ideas across formats.
• Ensure accuracy, fact-checking, and clarity in all financial content produced.
• Contribute ideas for content formats, series, and creative approaches that make finance content interesting for social media audiences.

Requirements  

Traits: Curious about markets, detail-oriented, analytical thinker, proactive, ownership mindset

Skills: Research, financial content writing, storytelling, understanding of social media formats

Tools: Google Workspace /MS Office, basic research tools, awareness of financial news platforms

Experience: 1–2+ years (experience in finance content, investing, or markets is a plus)

Education: Graduate or above (background in finance, commerce, economics, or related field preferred)
