About The Role

We are seeking a talented Freelance Cybersecurity Content Writer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, insightful content to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive articles on a broad spectrum of cybersecurity topics, including Zero Trust architecture, threat intelligence, cloud security, CSPM/CWPP, and incident response. Your writing will help educate and inform a variety of audiences, from C-suite executives such as CISOs to hands-on SOC analysts, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent research skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, actionable content. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in content marketing and cybersecurity thought leadership.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience as a cybersecurity or InfoSec content writer
Published work on reputable news sites, industry blogs, or vendor platforms
Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity topics such as IAM, EDR/XDR, Network Security, Ransomware trends, and Compliance frameworks (SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, NIST)
Experience in creating long-form guides, mitigation articles, tool comparisons, trend reports, and thought leadership pieces
Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience using SEO tools
Excellent research, fact-checking, and editing skills
Ability to adapt tone and technical depth to suit diverse audiences
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment

Responsibilities

Write detailed and comprehensive articles on topics including Zero Trust architecture, threat intelligence, cloud security, CSPM/CWPP, and incident response
Adapt tone and technical depth to effectively communicate with audiences ranging from C-suite executives to technical SOC analysts
Create high-CTR, compelling titles that resonate within the cybersecurity community and attract authoritative press coverage
Implement editorial and client feedback to ensure content accuracy and quality
Provide actionable insights and strategies within content to help clients enhance their security posture
Conduct thorough research to ensure all content is factually accurate and up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends
Collaborate with design and UX teams to optimize content presentation and readability
Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines
