Content Producer - Kannada & Malayalam

About The Role

We are looking for a Content Producer with expertise in Kannada, Malayalam, or both, to own the end-to-end localization and promotional pipeline for regional content. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller with a deep understanding of regional audiences, capable of managing content localization while also creating compelling promotional assets that drive audience engagement.

Beyond localization, we're looking for someone who can identify regional content opportunities and develop original content concepts that resonate with Kannada and/or Malayalam audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end localization of content into Kannada and/or Malayalam, ensuring linguistic and cultural authenticity.
• Manage the complete localization workflow, including script adaptation, dubbing, voice casting, quality control, and final delivery.
• Conceptualize, script, and oversee the production of engaging promos and marketing creatives for localized content.
• QC all localized content and promotional assets to ensure consistency in language, tone, and quality.
• Coordinate with writers, translators, voice artists, editors, studios, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
• Research audience trends and identify opportunities for new regional content.
• Develop and pitch original regional content ideas, formats, and IPs that can be produced for Kannada and Malayalam audiences.
• Work closely with Growth and Marketing teams to optimize promotional creatives based on performance insights.
  
  

Requirements

• Native or professional proficiency in Kannada and/or Malayalam. Candidates with expertise in both languages will be preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in digital media, OTT, content production, localization, publishing, or creative marketing.
• Strong storytelling skills with experience in creating high-performing promotional content.
• Experience managing localization and dubbing workflows, including quality control.
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for regional content, digital storytelling, and audience-first content creation.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools is a plus.

• Candidates with experience in content creation, YouTube, OTT, podcasts, regional media, or digital-first content businesses.
