Content Manager

Designation: Content Writer cum Social Media Manager

Job Purpose : Create compelling content for print & digital platforms and manage all social media channels to enhance GL Bajaj's brand image, student engagement, and admission lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content for website pages, blogs, newsletters, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Develop engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube).
• Manage and update the institute’s official social media accounts regularly.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns for admissions, events, achievements, and campus activities.
• Write press releases, captions, event coverage, and academic announcements.
• Coordinate with departments to collect student achievements, faculty updates, and institutional news.
• Monitor social media engagement, comments, and messages and respond appropriately.
• Maintain content calendar aligned with institutional activities and marketing goals.
• Capture or coordinate basic photos/videos for social media posts when required.
• Track analytics and performance metrics to improve reach and engagement.

Required Skills

• Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of social media management tools and platforms.
• Basic understanding of SEO, hashtags, and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to create creative captions, posters, and short-form content.
• Familiarity with Canva, basic graphic design, or video editing tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, digital marketing, or social media management preferred.

Other Requirements

• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest in education sector communication and branding.
