About the RoleAs Icario’s Content & Engagement Strategist, you will intimately understand and be a leader in the creation, education, implementation and optimization of Icario-specific content and engagement strategies to drive high-value activities across all healthcare markets.

While this role’s primary job function is writing, we’re searching for someone with a design-centric mindset who can think critically about how copy can flow into design and serve as a great partner to downstream teams. You will need to have experience and expertise in developing innovative member journeys that drive engagement through multiple modes of communication with messaging rooted in behavioral science. Being successful in this role requires an understanding of the needs of these markets from a healthcare-quality perspective to be able to provide insight and answer questions to inform the product management process. This role is central to the company’s value creation engine and serves as an important driver for all engagement strategies.

Why We Need You

  • Assemble data and assess engagement metrics, in an effort to understand, define, and affect healthcare engagement that enhances current engagement journey flows and activities as well. as develop new engagement strategies to support Icario Products
  • Ensure consistency of content tone, style, and messaging across all products, in line with client brand voice and regulatory requirements
  • Develop persona-specific engagement plans, strategies, and frameworks in order to drive high-value behaviors
  • Serve as both a subject matter expert and lead to ensure internal and external content meets objective of the overall engagement plan
  • Responsible for ensuring the engagements flows and overall member experience drive the highest performance Assess and progress the strategy, value, and use of existing and new engagement journeys and member experiences Development and implementation of a complete set of high-value member behavior specifications necessary to drive members from engagement to action across all markets (evolving as necessary)
  • Continuously monitor user feedback, metrics, and analytics to measure the effectiveness of UX and content initiatives, iterating based on findings
  • Work directly with clients, Product, Operations and other key delivery areas to flesh out requirements, key questions, and further details needed to build market-leading consumer engagement strategies
  • Ensure all digital content adheres to healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and accessibility best practices (e.g., WCAG)
  • Comply with Icario's compliance and security policies, complete all required training, and safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Icario's PHI and PII

  • BA/MBA with healthcare and well-being industry consumer engagement experience preferred, extensive demonstrated relevant experience will also be considered
  • 3+ years experience in strategic program development for health plans
  • Deep knowledge of all lines of business within health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial
  • 2+ years building business strategy and tactical plans
  • 2+ years in marketing, communication strategy, patient education or healthcare engagement
  • Experience working with business partners to define and build program capabilities
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately prioritize and organize work; be detail-oriented; and understand when urgency is required
  • Knowledge of measurement and analytics practices
  • Ability to work independently and proactively bring forward ideas and new solutions
