We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Clinical Biochemist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both routine and specialized biochemistry.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative diagnostics, patient care, and research in the field of clinical biochemistry.

• Supervise technical processes within the clinical biochemistry section, ensuring adherence to SOPs, NABL standards, and guidelines.

• Conduct daily QC reviews, monthly QC analysis, and manage calibration and analytical run decisions.

• Implement corrective and preventive actions for deviations and non-conformities.

• Review proficiency testing and External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs.

• Oversee equipment maintenance and validation/verification of new tests.

• Design and implement method validation/verification protocols.

• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

• Monitor quality indicators and conduct risk assessments.

• Ensure report accuracy through delta checks and quality assessments.

• Maintain quality, safety standards, and turnaround times.

• Prepare for internal and external audits with proper documentation.

• Address client queries and provide patient counseling when required.

• Handle critical result communication with physicians/staff.

• Resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Train staff and ensure compliance with best practices.

• Manage inventory and oversee purchase requisitions.

• Stay updated with advancements via CME, conferences, and training.

• Contribute to improving lab practices and physician interactions.

• Collaborate on new procedures, policies, and research protocols.

• MBBS, MD/PhD (Biochemistry) with at least 5 years of experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Training in ISO 15189:2022 (preferred)

• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team
