About Pando Data

Pando Data builds industrial AI solutions for heavy manufacturing — computer vision and dimensional monitoring systems that give factories real-time production visibility. We are a small, fast-growing team working directly with clients across steel, manufacturing, and more, solving real problems on real factory floors — not building features for a roadmap decided by someone three levels above you.

We're looking for someone who wants genuine ownership early in their career — someone who can take a project from a rough client requirement to a fully working system, and who's comfortable being the person representing Pando on-site or on a client call, independently.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Build computer vision systems end-to-end — from model development through backend integration, dashboards, and alert/notification systems. You will own the full delivery, not just the model.
  • Lead client calls and site visits independently, without a senior team member always present. You'll be expected to represent Pando's technical judgment directly — solving what you can on the spot, and flagging what needs to be escalated.
  • Work across multiple industries and use cases — retail analytics one month, industrial production monitoring the next. This is a generalist role, not a narrow specialization.
  • Take ownership of your own task planning and priorities. As a small team, we don't run heavy process or micromanagement — you're expected to identify what needs doing and drive it forward yourself.

Key Skills & Requirements
  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience in computer vision / applied ML, with real production or client-facing project experience — not limited to academic or internship work.
  • Strong technical range: comfortable across CV model development as well as backend systems, dashboard/reporting tools, and data pipelines. We need people who can build a complete system, not just one layer of it.
  • Good communication skills and professional maturity — this role involves regular client interaction, and you should be comfortable representing the company independently in technical discussions.
  • A self-starter mindset — someone who takes initiative, works well with ambiguity, and doesn't need constant direction to make progress.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is a strong plus, though not mandatory. Candidates without this background but with strong technical fundamentals and a fast learning curve are encouraged to apply.

What You Can Expect

This is a high-ownership role at a growing company — not a large-team environment with narrowly defined responsibilities. You will be trusted with real client relationships and real delivery responsibility early, and your growth here will track directly with the impact you're able to drive.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, hands-on, and genuinely excited about solving hard technical problems in real industrial settings — and who wants a career where ownership is earned quickly, not after years of waiting.
