Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Operator cum Office Assistant role based at ICICI Bank’s Roorkee location. The role involves handling daily computer operations, including data entry, record maintenance, and updating internal systems with accuracy and timeliness. The office assistant responsibilities include managing back-office documentation, organizing files, preparing basic reports, and supporting branch staff with routine administrative tasks. The position also requires handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, coordinating with team members for smooth workflow, and assisting with customer service support when needed. The individual in this role is expected to follow bank policies, maintain confidentiality of information, and contribute to efficient branch operations.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Computer Operations and Computer Literacy skills for effective use of banking and office software.
  • Candidates should possess accurate Typing skills for data entry, documentation, and routine reporting tasks.
  • Candidates should possess Back Office Operations skills to manage records, files, and administrative workflows efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to interact with colleagues and support customer-facing staff.
  • Completion of at least a high school diploma; a degree or diploma in computer applications, commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort working with digital tools and online banking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and reliability in handling confidential information.
  • Prior experience in banking or office administration is an advantage but not mandatory.
