Process & Fixtures?3.)?Casting & Machining Qualification???-?? B.Tech / in Mechanical/ Production Responsibilities: ? Role 1:? Component Development ? Forging & Machining -Conversant with Hot forging & cold forging and - Gear machining - CNC/ VMC/ Broaching / Hobbing, Shaping - Gear Shaving, Teeth grinding & teeth honing and bore honing. - Basic knowledge of Heat Treatment for Gears & shafts. -Development of Gears, Shafts, and transmission assemblies?with Vendors. Drawing study & Manufacturability points closure with R&D Process planning Fixture, Tools, gauges selection & planning Prepare process sheets, conduct trials and development of samples including troubleshooting Cycle time estimations & Capacity readiness as per Business plan Hot forging, Cold forging, Gear machining ? CNC, VMC, Broaching, Hobbing, Shaping, Gear Shaving, Teeth grinding, teeth honing, bore honing and Basic knowledge of Heat Treatment for Gears & shafts Role 2:?Component Development - Casting & Machining To meet project schedule of pre-pilot /pilot/CUFT/SOP Machining feasibility study of Aluminium & ferrous parts Optimized Machining process planning Machining capacity planning w.r.t business plan Cutting tools understanding & planning Conceptualization & development of machining fixtures, inspection gauges, Automation Costing of parts (machining process) / Fixtures / gauges Identifying VAVE ideas at development stage & implementation Development Documentation completion & handover to related verticals Should have knowledge of CNC, VMC & HMC programming & machining. Role 3 :? Component development- Process and Fixtures -Process and fixture design approval for 2 wh press and fabrication route parts - Coordination of development for medium and small fabricated parts group -Process design, DFM study and resolution with R&D, Fixtures DAP approvals (Design Approval Prints) for 2wh. Medium and small fabricated components -Knowledge of drawing study for petrol tanks, chaincases, srtands designing of manufacturing process for the same - MIG welding, spot welding, fixture DAP approvals ?
