Hi Community,
I need some soulful support. I must travel urgently from Rakkar to Jaipur from May 13th to May 20th to visit my mother, (it's an emergency)
I am looking for one or two volunteers (a couple or two friends prefered, for company) to stay at my peaceful farm in Rakkar (30 mins from Dharamshala bus stand) and take care of my two heartbeats, Nandi and Dia.
Meet the Pups:
Nandi and Dia are incredibly smart, cooperative, friendly, and very playful. Once you meet them, they are a joy.
The "Pause" Lifestyle in Rakkar:
You will be staying at our farm, Therab By TakeApause, located just 300 meters from the main market.
The Living Flow: As this is a farm, we prioritize self-sufficient, physical work.
Resources: We ask that you please use electricity, gas, and water wisely during your stay.
Your Role in Their Routine:
Diet (Crucial): They receive 3 vegetarian meals a day (8-9 AM, 1-2 PM small portion, 7-8 PM). Their diet consists of: Boiled rice mixed with curd, boiled potatoes, boiled pumpkin, or sometimes boiled eggs. Please note: I do not give them chicken or any meat diet.
Walks: You can take them for long walks. They are smart and can walk without a leash on trails, recalling well even when out of sight.
Neighborhood Safety Rule: Crucially, please DO NOT unleash them near the farm itself. The lady owner of the nearby farm does not like dogs, and we must respect her boundaries.
Your Rhythm & Freedom:
You can still enjoy your day. If you need to go out for the day, please lock the house and put them inside the designated Temple Room (just add food and water). They stay inside there very happily all day, so you don't have to worry about them.
Meet & Greet Required: I prefer that we all meet first so you can connect with Nandi and Dia—they will be much more cooperative with you afterward.
