Katha IGNITE is an AI-powered influencer marketing platform connecting brands with 10,000+ verified nano and micro creators across South India. With over 500Mn+ combined followers and a 97% follower authenticity rate, we help brands run campaigns that feel like organic social not advertising.

We're building something meaningful in the creator economy, and we're looking for a Community Associate to own and grow the heart of what we do our creator community.

THE ROLE

This is a ground-up community role. You'll be responsible for keeping our growing network of nano and micro creators engaged, motivated, and active through contests, meetups, events, and ongoing community management. You'll work directly with creators and closely with the sales team, the product team. Expect to spend time in cities, at events, and in WhatsApp groups in equal measure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Weekly Creator Contests

• Own the end-to-end playbook for themed creator contests
• Identify culturally relevant themes and occasions that work for creator content
• Manage participation, track submissions, and coordinate with the sales team to identify brand partners
• Manage creator communication before, during, and after each contest

City Meetups

• Identify and partner with interesting venues across cities gaming zones, entertainment spaces, studios, cafes
• Plan and execute regular creator meetups that are experiential and community-first
• Handle on-ground logistics, creator attendance, and post-event content coordination

Large Creator Events

• Support the planning and execution of quarterly creator-first events
• Work with sponsors, vendors, and the Katha team to deliver seamless event experiences
• Ensure strong content output from every event

Community Management

• Manage curated sub-communities within our larger creator network
• Run the city champions program identifying, onboarding, and supporting creator leads in each city
• Build and manage creator loyalty and rewards programs
• Be the face of Katha to our creator community responsive, warm, and reliable

Scale

• Start in Kerala and scale operations across the country. 
• Build systems and playbooks that allow the community function to scale without breaking

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people creators, partners, vendors, and teams
• Organized enough to manage multiple moving parts, but comfortable with ambiguity
• Strong communicator written and verbal; able to brief a creator and pitch a venue partner in the same day
• Comfortable being on the ground this role involves regular travel across South India
• Has an eye for what makes good content and understands how creators think
• Experience in community management, events, influencer marketing, or social media is a plus but not a hard requirement
• Entrepreneurial mindset you'll be building a lot of this from scratch
