Commercial Manager – Philippines

Location: Metro Manila / Ilijan Batangas, terminal site, Philippines (on-site presence required)

Function: Commercial – LNG Terminal Operations & Client Account Management

Employment: Full-time, permanent

About the Role

We operate and maintain an LNG import terminal in the Philippines on behalf of our client. We're building out our commercial presence in-country and need a hands-on commercial professional to be the day-to-day point of contact for the account.

You'll sit between the client, the terminal, and our regional commercial team—keeping the O&M contract running smoothly, spotting commercial value as it emerges, and growing into broader deal and market responsibility over time. You'll work closely with and learn directly from our Head of Commercial.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary commercial interface for the LNG PH account; manage the relationship at a working level and keep the client informed, confident, and well-served.
  • Own the Terminal Agreements and O&M commercial terms—tracking obligations, throughput, invoicing, change orders, and contractual milestones.
  • Coordinate across operations, engineering, finance, and SCM to ensure we deliver on commercial commitments and surface issues early.
  • Maintain the commercial models and trackers for the account: revenue, costs, throughput, KPIs; prepare clear reporting for management and the client.
  • Support contract renewals, amendments, and new commercial opportunities tied to the terminal—drafting, analysis, negotiation prep.
  • Track the local market: regulation, demand, competitors, downstream gas; flag opportunities and risks relevant to the account.
  • Help build the commercial footprint in the Philippines as the business scales, taking on origination and deal responsibility over time.

What You'll Bring

  • 5–10 years of LNG downstream experience (commercial, business development, or contract management). This is required.
  • A degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, or a related field. Finance, accounting, or energy qualifications are a plus.
  • Commercial and financial literacy: you can build and read models, understand P&Ls, and explain the numbers behind a deal.
  • Experience with TUAs, SPAs, GSAs, O&M, or EPC agreements—or the appetite and aptitude to get up to speed quickly.
  • Strong stakeholder skills: client-facing, comfortable working across functions, clear communicator with senior management.
  • Based in the Philippines or willing to relocate. International candidates: relocation support will be offered. Right to work in-country required.
  • Curiosity and drive to grow into a broader commercial and deal-making role over the next few years.
