Collections Supervisor - Western Region

Reporting To: MENA Divisional Finance Head
Location: West Region (Jeddah / Makkah)
Work Mode: Office & Field
Job Overview
The Supervisor – Collections is responsible for managing and overseeing daily collection activities within the assigned region. The role focuses on improving debt recovery performance, implementing effective collection strategies, and ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and company policies to optimize cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor collection strategies and policies to improve recovery rates and collection efficiency.
- Supervise daily collection activities and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Handle escalated and complex customer accounts, disputes, and overdue balances.
- Prepare and present regular collection performance reports, trends, and analysis to management.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Branch, and Channel Managers to resolve customer issues and improve collection processes.
- Conduct regular customer visits for collection follow-up and payment planning.
- Support branch operations and commercial teams in achieving collection targets.
- Assist the legal team in managing complex or long-outstanding overdue accounts.
- Monitor aging reports, reconciliations, and collection KPIs to ensure target achievement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
- Experience: FMCG commercial experience is preferred
- Local laws and regulations related to collections
- Collection best practices and compliance requirements
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of basic accounting, aging reports, and reconciliation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage escalations and work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is essential)
