Role Description

The Collections Manager is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Kolkata Area. The role involves leading and managing the collection activities for the respective portfolio while ensuring adherence to compliance guidelines. Key responsibilities include strategizing debt recovery efforts, monitoring default cases, managing recovery teams, and ensuring timely collections. The role also requires coordination with legal teams, preparing reports on collection status, and identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance recovery outcomes.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing and leading collection teams
• Ability to develop strategies and execute recovery plans effectively
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance relevant to NBFC operations
• Graduation in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Previous experience in collections or credit risk management is preferred
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
