About the Opportunity

We are looking for a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Co-Founder to join our founding team and help build the next generation of AI-powered HR Technology products. This is a true entrepreneurial opportunity for someone who wants to build a global technology company from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, SaaS product development, cloud architecture, and startup execution. Beyond technical leadership, the CTO will act as a strategic partner to the founders, contribute to fundraising, and help shape the long-term technology and business vision of the company.

This is an equity-based co-founder role. There is no salary at this stage, as the company is in its early growth phase. The successful candidate should be financially comfortable with an equity-first model and committed to creating long-term value.


Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

  • Define and execute the company's long-term technology strategy.
  • Build scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
  • Lead end-to-end product architecture, engineering, deployment, and scaling.
  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, DevOps, CI/CD, and security frameworks.
  • Design systems capable of supporting millions of users globally.

AI & Innovation

  • Lead development of AI-powered products using:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • AI Agents & Autonomous Agent Frameworks
  • Machine Learning
  • Generative AI
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • AI Search
  • Recommendation Engines
  • NLP
  • Speech AI
  • Intelligent Automation
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integrate them into the company's product roadmap.
  • Build responsible, scalable, and cost-efficient AI infrastructure.

Product Development

  • Translate business vision into scalable technology solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams.
  • Drive rapid MVP development followed by enterprise-scale product evolution.
  • Prioritize product features based on customer feedback and market demand.

Startup Leadership

  • Serve as a core member of the founding leadership team.
  • Participate in strategic planning and company-wide decision-making.
  • Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams.
  • Develop technology hiring strategies and interview technical talent.
  • Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, innovation, and execution.

Strategic Advisory

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on technology, product, and innovation.
  • Contribute to business planning, pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and product-market fit.
  • Support strategic partnerships and enterprise technology discussions.

Fundraising & Investor Relations

  • Participate in investor meetings and technology due diligence.
  • Present the company's technology vision to investors and strategic partners.
  • Help prepare technical documentation, product roadmaps, architecture diagrams, and technology strategies for fundraising.
  • Demonstrate confidence in the business by contributing investment into the company alongside the founding team, where mutually agreed.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Engineering, Technical Founder, or Technical Co-Founder.
  • Strong startup experience, preferably from Seed to Series A/B or similar growth stages.
  • Deep understanding of startup execution, fundraising, scaling, and product-market fit.
  • Hands-on experience building SaaS products from concept to production.
  • Strong software architecture and system design expertise.

Preferred Experience

  • Built or significantly contributed to AI-first SaaS products.
  • Experience leading distributed engineering teams.
  • Successfully launched commercial software products.
  • Experience with enterprise software architecture.
  • Familiarity with HR Tech, Recruitment Tech, Assessment Platforms, Contact Center Technologies, or Workflow Automation is an advantage.
  • Experience working with venture-backed startups or high-growth technology companies.
