CNC/VMC Milling Machine Operator

LOCATION: Pashamylaram, Isnapur

The CNC/VMC Milling Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC/VMC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met.

• Operate CNC/VMC milling machines to manufacture components as per technical drawings and job specifications
• Set up machines including tool selection, fixture alignment, and parameter setting
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets accurately
• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks using measuring instruments
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per required standards
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely
• Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
• Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or tooling issues
• Coordinate with production and quality teams for process improvements
• Maintain production records, reports, and job cards
• Follow all safety guidelines, SOPs, and company policies at all times

• Strong understanding of CNC/VMC machine operations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T basics
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes
• Familiarity with measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• Certification in CNC machining is an added advantage

• Fresher to 3+ years of experience in CNC/VMC machining operations

• Manufacturing / Production shop floor environment
• Requires standing for long hours and handling machinery
