Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a CNC Operator - PEB. The CNC Operator will handle the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Daily responsibilities include monitoring equipment performance, ensuring precision in machining, conducting quality checks, and maintaining adherence to safety and operational standards. The CNC Operator will also collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical or operational issues.

CNC Operator – Roles & Responsibilities (PEB Construction Company)

• Operate CNC machines for fabrication of structural components used in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB)
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and nesting plans to ensure accurate cutting and drilling
• Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust parameters for different materials (steel plates, sections, etc.)
• Monitor machining processes to maintain quality, precision, and production efficiency
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances
• Coordinate with production and design teams to meet project timelines
• Maintain proper documentation of production output and machine logs
• Follow safety standards and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment
• Optimize material usage and reduce wastage during fabrication processes

Must Have

• Must have 5+ experience in PEB
