About Student Housing – The Cluster You’ll Own

Student Housing is one of Zolo’s most critical and fastest-scaling verticals.

As a Cluster Manager, you will own a set of properties within Pune, where execution, occupancy, and experience come together.

Role Overview – What This Role Is Really About

Picture this:

Multiple properties across Pune.

Students moving in and out.

Sales teams driving bookings.

Operations teams managing daily execution.

And you are at the center — ensuring everything works together.

This role is not just coordination.

It is end-to-end ownership of a cluster business, where both occupancy and operational quality depend on your decisions.


What You Will Practically Do Every Day (So You Can Picture the Job)

  • Own occupancy and revenue targets for your cluster of properties
  • Drive sales performance by working closely with booking and demand teams
  • Ensure properties are filled with the right pricing and demand strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned properties
  • Ensure service quality, cleanliness, safety, and compliance standards
  • Resolve on-ground issues and escalations quickly
  • Manage property staff including wardens, housekeeping, and support teams
  • Ensure teams are aligned to service standards and operational discipline
  • Track key metrics such as occupancy, revenue, costs, and customer feedback
  • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Build relationships with property owners and local partners
  • Support supply onboarding and ensure readiness of new properties
  • Manage vendors across food, housekeeping, maintenance, and security
  • Ensure service delivery meets defined standards
  • Prepare the cluster for peak student seasons and demand spikes
