Job Description

Cloud/AWS Architect Role Overview The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures to support modern digital and analytics platforms. The role requires hands-on expertise in AWS (certification mandatory) and experience in building microservices , DevOps , and data pipelines for enterprise-grade financial systems. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain a secure, scalable AWS cloud architecture supporting application, data, and AI workloads. Define the landing zone , network topology , and account structure aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance. Architect and oversee microservices deployment , container orchestration (EKS/Fargate) , and API management . Collaborate with Developers , DevOps , and Security teams to ensure smooth CI/CD, IAM, and monitoring integration. Implement cost optimization , autoscaling , disaster recovery , and high availability strategies. Establish infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards using Terraform or CloudFormation. Ensure data security , encryption , and compliance with financial regulations (RBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR). Provide technical guidance on multi-account , hybrid-cloud , and integration with on-prem systems . Continuously evaluate and recommend emerging AWS services for analytics, AI/ML, and data integration. Technical Skills Mandatory: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional). Deep understanding of VPC design , IAM , EKS/ECS , Lambda , S3 , CloudFront , RDS/Redshift , and API Gateway . Proficiency with Terraform , CloudFormation , and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline). Experience integrating monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, ELK). Knowledge of KMS , Secrets Manager , GuardDuty , and WAF for security hardening. Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting for automation. Experience 10?15 years of total IT experience, with at least 5 years in cloud architecture and deployment on AWS. Proven experience designing secure, multi-tier architectures for fintech, banking, or trading platforms. Experience in hybrid integrations , data lakes , and real-time streaming (Kafka/Kinesis) preferred. Job Location : Bangalore (initially will have to work from our Kochi Office, as Bangalore office is yet to open)
