Azure Cloud Engineer - £65,000 - Islington - Hybrid (2 Days on Site)

The Role
We are looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a growing cloud consulting team delivering infrastructure and cloud transformation projects for a range of professional services organisations.
This role will involve working across the full project lifecycle, helping design, implement, and deploy modern Microsoft cloud solutions while supporting clients in migrating and optimising their infrastructure within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
You will collaborate with experienced cloud consultants, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve operational efficiency, security, and scalability for clients.
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite in London, with the remainder working
remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a cloud consulting team to design, implement and deliver Azure infrastructure solutions
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud and infrastructure projects, from discovery and design through to deployment and handover
- Work with clients to understand infrastructure requirements and propose appropriate Azure and Microsoft cloud solutions
- Assist in planning the technical and operational delivery of projects to ensure successful outcomes
- Deliver infrastructure implementations either independently on smaller projects or as part of a wider project team
- Participate in Azure migrations, including server and workload migrations to the cloud
- Provide regular project updates and documentation throughout project delivery
- Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to coordinate delivery across projects
- Support the transition of completed projects into operational support teams
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience implementing IT infrastructure or cloud migration projects
- Exposure to Azure cloud platforms and related Microsoft technologies
- Experience supporting or delivering Microsoft 365 / Office 365 migrations
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure design principles
- Experience moving workloads or servers into Azure environments
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work effectively in consultancy or customer-facing environments
- Good documentation and reporting capabilities
Desirable Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer or Azure Administrator
- Microsoft 365 certifications
- MCITP Server / Enterprise Administrator
- ITIL Foundation
