Cloud Engineer – Level 1 (Junior DevOps / Cloud Ops)

Location: Coimbatore
Experience: 1 – 2.5 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

Knowtifics Technologies is looking for a passionate Cloud Engineer – Level 1 to support cloud infrastructure, automation, and operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

This role is ideal for early-career engineers who want hands-on exposure to real production cloud systems, DevOps tools, and modern automation practices.

You’ll learn fast, work on global projects, and grow into a senior cloud/DevOps role.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP
Support deployments using CI/CD pipelines
Help automate infrastructure using Terraform/Cloud templates
Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
Support containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes – basic level)
Follow security and best cloud practices
Work with senior engineers on cloud optimization & automation

Required Skills (Beginner–Intermediate)

✅ Basic hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP – any one is fine)
✅ Understanding of Linux & basic networking
✅ Exposure to Git, CI/CD concepts
✅ Basic scripting (Python/Bash preferred)
✅ Willingness to learn automation & DevOps tools

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

➕ Terraform or infrastructure automation basics
➕ Docker/Kubernetes exposure
➕ Monitoring tools familiarity
➕ Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP fundamentals)
