Leapswitch Networks is looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Hosting Specialist/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud hosting environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability for our clients

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud hosting platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure cost-efficiency.
• Web Hosting Support:
• Set up and manage web hosting services, including cPanel, Plesk, and custom solutions.
• Handle DNS configurations, SSL installations, and domain management.
• Performance and Security:
• Implement best practices for cloud security, including firewalls, access control, and encryption.
• Monitor and enhance server performance, uptime, and responsiveness.
• Technical Support:
• Provide Level 2/3 support for escalated hosting and infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer technical challenges.
• Automation and Scripting:
• Automate repetitive tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or shell scripts.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud setups, configurations, and processes.
• Provide periodic reports on resource usage and system health.
  

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux server management.
• Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking (e.g., load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs).
• Knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
